What would be considered religion bashing? I've read posts here where the originator thought we did too much religion bashing. I've witnessed just the opposite. Everyone here seems pretty cordial to me.
I live in a state where I commonly hear politicians who supposedly represent me, say things like "atheists should have no rights whatsoever" or "atheists should not even be considered citizens of this country". Where supposed to smile and take such hateful comments, but if we question the religious at all, we're religion bashing.
I honestly am worried about the direction this country is headed when I see where some of the other religious countries have ended up, with women not being allowed to drive, and gays being killed for being born gay. There are an alarming amount of people who would take this country just as far, if they had their way.
I really think we should allow people in places like this website to speak their mind.
