I had a cat called Kramer, named after Tommy Kramer of the Vikings and he was a Tom, but he was called Big Mogs. Also had a dog called Trapper, named after Trapper Mash from Mash and he was called Splodge.

But when I lived with my former fiance, we called her cockapoo 'pup' and even though I no longer live there, I have continued the persona of 'pup' as a dog who hangs out in the hot tub, sells drugs, pimps out the next door bischon frises, and generally is in all kinds of bad behaviors, including advising Donald Trump.

I don't have any pets, but somewhere along the line, I got into the habit of calling all of my friends' cats or dogs "Fuzzy-Butt"... I'm sure they each have unique names, but they're all Fuzzy-Butt to me. My friends tolerate me. =)

Nicknames for my cats throughout the years: fur ball, knucklehead, goof, ya big brute, wrestler kitty, sweetest, old boy, old man, putz, chow hound, lovey, lump, crazy, silly, idiot, baddest. They were and are all my loves.

not exactly a nickname, but my doggos name is butters, one time i was not having a great day and i was flustered. i was trying to call her over to me and i for some reason couldnt remember her name. so i have no idea why, but i said, balls, come here! my son has not let me live it down since. he still says hey balls, come here sometimes and it kills me every time.
