New Windows 11 install script bypasses TPM, system requirements
@FearlessFly I'm going to try and install Windows 11 on an older Windows 10 laptop if it will take the install. I will hold out for as long as MS supports Windows 10 on my good computer. I'm not an expert on these things by any means. I don't like to go through the growing pains of a new operating system. Do you think that is a good strategy?
I have never put my hard earned money in any of MS (or Apple) 'pockets'.
I think the best 'strategy' is Linux.
@FearlessFly Yeah. I only use my computer for occasional Zoom seasons. I basically use my phone for most stuff. Nothing sensitive over public networks. I'm kind of a low tech guy.
No updates because you don't have a TPM ?
. . . never been a better reason to NOT use Windows.
Stallman was right.... again.
No need to rush to Windows 11 anyway. I still know 2 people running Windows 7. For someone like me, a heavy gamer, no real options. Sure you can emulate Windows in another OS but still not very well.
