Because they're stupid.

Why would some Americans rather risk death than get the vaccine?

It's the American way.

Fucking pathetic.
😑

Mind boggling to me that someone would risk death to both own the libs and keep following the orange anus.

@Diagoras I saw the video of trump trying to bring it up, they did immediately start booing him. Apparently they don’t care for him if he says something sensible!

@Diagoras, @Redheadedgammy And I don't think he ever brought it up again. That pathetic excuse for a human is more terrified of being unpopular than a middle school kid who gets a pimple on picture day.

8

That's just what happens when the local lunatics vote one their own into a position of power.

7

And of course death is a bad risk but it's not the only one.
The disease also likely damages the lungs, heart, nervous system, kidneys, liver and other organs of patients.

People talk like it's a yes or no question -- you either die or you recover completely.

That's yet another stupid attitude. We need to do everything we can to end the disease. It won't skip any opportunity -- we shouldn't either.

@RichCC Yeah focusing just on potential for death is a wrong take. Long COVID might make one wish they died. And how many decades will disabilities however severe or mild linger? Time will tell…a perhaps horrifying story not captured fully by 700000+ deaths in the US alone.

I had Covid twice. I thought I had immunity but I didn’t. Absolute worst thing I ever had. 4 months later I’m still feeling the effects from it

Yes. 0.0006 humans have died from Covid, stop everyone !!!! and thing !!!, get the protest chicken Little sign!!!!. Hardly anyone has a job anyways.

@Castlepaloma In my county (Mineral WV) one of every 255 humans have died from Covid. Still going up. Can't ever go down. Others who didn't die are still suffering, months later. The hospital is full and not accepting anyone but Covid patients.

@mtnhome

There are hot spots and cold spot for covid..
I agree covid won't go down because vaccines will triple the deaths end of this year and since the roll out of last last. The dark winter will be in 10s of millions. Our hearts disease in our area is a 100 times greater deaths than covid. Not counting other areas where other greater disease and virus Heath condition greater than the covid?

7

The choice is actually between risking death by COVID and risking death by the mRNA inoculation. I am in favor of true vaccines. I oppose the hijacking of cells' genetic messaging by the mRNA jabs.

Please provide an authoritative source validating your claim that any covid vaccine "hijacks" cell genetic messaging. (B-cells express set antibody sequences before they see antigen. No DNA modification is involved when B-cells are activated to proliferate.)

It is a more efficient approach to combatting the diease

People like you ARE the problem.

@racocn8 Affinity maturation is a possibility which involves somatic hypermutation in a subset of immunocytes. This is a normal process in response to pathogens or vaccines given sufficient conditions. Not even close to the ignorant scare mongering the antivaxxers promote. And it is not remotely similar to what happens with a retrovirus being reverse transcribed and integrated into the cellular DNA. The immune cells do Darwinism, so to speak. Kinda cool stuff actually.

As far as hijacking goes the vaccine mRNA is being translated on ribosomes in rough endoplasmic reticula as a normal cellular process. It isn’t messing with DNA at all at that level. The protein product, spike antigen, will generate a immune response that, if sufficient, will result in somatic hypermutation (ie- DNA changes) that result in better matching. This stays within the somatic cell lineage of certain immune cells and doesn’t get passed to offspring as germline changes.

[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

A generalization not confined to COVID infection or vaccination:

β€œOnly a small minority of the altered antigen receptors generated by hypermutation have an increased affinity for the antigen. The few B cells expressing these higher-affinity receptors, however, are preferentially stimulated by the antigen to survive and proliferate, whereas most other B cells die by apoptosis. Thus, as a result of repeated cycles of somatic hypermutation, followed by antigen-driven proliferation of selected clones of memory B cells, antibodies of increasingly higher affinity become abundant during an immune response, providing progressively better protection against the pathogen.”

[cdc.gov]

β€œMultiple studies have noted reduced vaccine effectiveness in older adults (β‰₯60 years) (38, 133-135) or residents of long-term care facilities, compared with general population estimates.(136-138) Compared with younger individuals, persons aged >80 years have been noted to have reduced T-cell responses, lower neutralizing antibody levels, and less potential antibody diversity (somatic hypermutation), potentially giving this group increased risk for susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 infection in vaccinated people. (139)”

Somatic hypermutation scares me as much as a beautiful sunset. It can be a factor too in the much worshipped β€œnatural immunity” the antivaxxers trumpet. The virus can do it. The vaccine can do it. Both indirectly via a quasi-Darwinian process. Not a big deal? Pretty frickin’ awesome IMO!

@PBuck0145
COVID infection is hell of a lot riskier than being vaccinated by mRNA vaccines. Your opinion on what constitutes a real vaccine carries zero weight. Your misconceptions are inconsequential to how the world actually works and can do real harm to others who believe them. It would be funny to see ignorant people make silly assertions in comments sections, presuming they have the expertise to overthrow generations of established knowledge, but these assertions have real world consequences that are not so funny. People die or suffer long COVID.

You couldn’t explain β€œhijacking of cells' genetic messaging” if you tried. Go ahead. In your own words.

Here’s a primer which refutes the direct incorporation of mRNA vaccine material into DNA:

[webmd.com]

Immune responses to vaccines and pathogens can result in a normal process that changes DNA in certain immune cells, but COVID infection could do that and that would be a β€œnatural immunity” trial by fire. Call me a wussy but I will choose the artificial immunity route myself via vaccines whether against flu, measles, or SARS-CoV-2. mRNA vaccines are just another way of doing things.

@Scott321 I stand corrected. Thanks for the update.

@racocn8 Please provide evidence that you are open to discussing the issue. You are evidently sufficiently intelligent to find the information you request, despite the censorship of the left-wing media.

[medicalnewstoday.com]

Okay. Tell us WHY you are opposed to "hijacking of cells' genetic messaging by the mRNA jabs"? Or why the mRNA jabs are not true vaccines.

@racocn8

  1. Straight from the horse's mouth:
    [news.yahoo.com]

  2. A "true vaccine" contains a dead or deactivated pathogen or portion thereof. The mRNA inoculation interferes with the genetic messaging of otherwise healthy cells, permanently damaging them.

Reporting of the deaths and problems resulting from mRNA jabs are vigorously suppressed and censored. From the information I have seen, I am not convinced that submitting to the mRNA is any safer than contracting the virus itself.

Another reason for my reluctance is the well-documented objective of the World Economic Forum to use the pandemic as a rationale for imposing the "Great Reset" / "New World Order".
[weforum.org]

Thanks for your response. I agree that the way the World Economic Forum seeks to use the pandemic is concerning. I doubt that they publish their actual intentions, and without actionable information, nothing can be said that doesn't come off as paranoid speculation.

I suspect you are correct in suggesting that the media censors and minimizes the deaths and problems resulting from the mRNA jabs as well as the other vaccinations. I'll suggest they are doing this out of loyalty to the notion that vaccination is believed to be the best strategy to curtail the pandemic. Thus, publicizing the downsides doesn't help that strategy.

From your article: "Malone clarified that he was not discouraging the use of the vaccine but was providing people with as much fair information as he could about their risks."

Addressing the Tucker Carlson's disinformation:

[reuters.com]

@PBuck0145 So does Robert Malone, someone involved in developing the technology used with the mRNA vaccines, call them vaccines? He would know, right? He said quoting your article: β€œβ€¦these are experimental vaccines.” So much for your objecting to calling them that.

And you still haven’t shown how these vaccines interfere with genetic messaging. They merely get muscle cells to express spike protein for a window of time:

[science.org]

@PBuck0145 and [nebraskamed.com]

β€œThe Pfizer and Moderna vaccines work by introducing mRNA (messenger RNA) into your muscle cells. The cells make copies of the spike protein and the mRNA is quickly degraded (within a few days). The cell breaks the mRNA up into small harmless pieces. mRNA is very fragile; that's one reason why mRNA vaccines must be so carefully preserved at very low temperatures.”

@PBuck0145 amazing the stuff you whole heartily believe. The things you post are ridiculous and dangerous. The people you put your trust in are NOT to be trusted.

@Redheadedgammy

You can lead a person to the vaccine, but you can't make him/her take.

A horse is smarter!!

@Redneckliberal How did the saying go. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

@Redneckliberal You can lead a dingbat to horse paste.

@xenoview THATS IT!

7

Not only Americans. There are people all over the world who are anti vaxxers, due to listening to nonsense and misinformation on social media.

Agreed. I am saddened by the violent protests of the lunatics of Melbourne.

@anglophone Me too, and now covid cases in Melbourne are spiraling out of control. Idiots.

@anglophone

Fighting over the greatest cause in the world. Choice to our own health..

5

No kidding, stupid

4

Natural Selection works in mysterious ways.

cull the herd

4

And they are getting more and more violent.
Health care workers are removing badges before doing things like shopping after work hours.

Disgusting dregs of society.

4

Stupid is as stupid does.

4

I feel it is only going to get worse.

@jlynn37 Hopefully we are on the downslope on the final big surge. I was wrong before. After I got my Modernas in March and April I was looking forward to normalcy. If the current surge drops hard and the deaths hopefully stop I don’t even know if it is appropriate to sigh and catch my breath. I almost started to go to restaurants again the last time I had hope. Then we got cold cocked.

@Scott321 I am referring to more of American life than the vaccines or the present virus.

4

The entire picture we face today is pure insanity...every day we witness more and more absurdity that melts our brains...it is like walking into a darkened room and finding yourself entangled in a giant spider web...in that instance I would light that SOB up and burn it to the ground and start from scratch.πŸ˜‚

3

Yep, plenty people willing to die for their right not to take the life saving vaccine. On their way out, they infected many other loved ones who may not have died, but got severely ill. Best we can do is avoid those who are willfully ignorant and believe misinformation to the detriment of society.

3

Ummm... Didn't you get the memo about there not being any "Covid" virus in the first place? Christine Massey spent almost a YEAR writing FOIA requests to various governments and their labs, asking for definitive PROOF that any of them had isolated any novel virus genome, and out of the 90 such requests made, not even just ONE of them would say that they had!! Now talk about being stupid!!

Seems like the millions dead around the planet also didn't get your inexisting conspiracy moronic memo.

2

Hey, encourage them. They are making Earth less crowded!

2

It's the erosion of common sense over the last 20+ years.

2

Since more adult Americans are vaccinated than not, it is obvious it is not "the American Way". We do have stupid Americans. If you lived here you might be one of them.

Or you could live in WV where only 40% re vaxxed. Or live in my county (Mineral), where only 30% are and that's probably the most we'll get, despite the hospital full and one of the highest national rates of death. So be it. They won't be voting in 2-years. πŸ˜‰

2

So easy to call people stupid when you live in another nation.

OK, I'll step in and call them stupid. I'm in about the reddest, least vaccinated, hardest-hit by Covid and stupidest state in the US (WV) and I know stupid when I see it. Being across the lake doesn't affect the poster's wisdom. He's right.

2

No sadly, they are not stupid, they are failed by the education system, which should have provided them with the tools needed to deal with real life, but failed to do so.

they fell for the lies and propaganda facebook and other like apps let go through and they believed trump although I can't see how they did

There are many ways to risk death. Driving a car, eating lots of sugar, questioning self proclaimed authorities, drinking cool-aid from religious leaders, etc. One way not mentioned above is taking a not so safe & not so effective experimental gene therapy which is not technically a vaccine. There are over 48k reported deaths associated with the vaccine in the 62+ population (SSA database) alone and over 16k (and counting) deaths reported to VARS (which was said to only receive approx. 1% of the vaccine injuries). There are also currently 750k adverse events many of which are disabling to the point of folks loosing their jobs and medical coverage. With a EUA there are no financial avenues to get financial/medical help...you are on your own.

For the logical folks out there (not involved in the religion of vaccines which are actually biological gene therapy)...if the FDA shut down the Swine Flu vaccine (which was a true vaccine) for < 50 deaths....at what body death count shall we shut down this current "vaccine"? Should we say 10k? Ooops...already there...how bout 50k? Technically...already there with all age groups. Perhaps a million? So when did 50k deaths from a "vaccine" become socially acceptable when only a few decades ago...50 dead from a "vaccine" was reason to pull the plug?

If someone wants to get the covid vaccine, by all means feel free and no ill will on my part, however, if there are risks associated including death, this should always remain a choice. No the unvaccinated are not causing people to get sick & die. Both vaccinated & unvaccinated can acquire, spread, and fall ill to the covid virus. If you believe otherwise, I would suggest doing some peer reviewed studying to educate yourself outside of the media false narrative.

As for the passports, why don't we test for herpes, HIV, Anal Warts and every other medical condition under the sun? After all...someone somewhere may feel the need to know what that waitress has before we decide if we want her to wait on our table.... πŸ™‚
