Problem with people like Manchin is he has been on the TAKE by the Coal interests from the get go. WV keeps him there as a buffer against progress...the people of WV don't want things to CHANGE but they like the Federal Subsidies for Infrastructure. So they let Manchin stay and everyone gets FAT.

What worries me more than anything...especially here in Alabama is the voter rolls being purged. The black community feels a sense of utter defeat. They don't even feel it is worth trying(ironically the black vote could flip this state...Mississsippi and Louisiana also if they all pulled together). NOW is the time to make sure you are registered...NOT the last minute. The only way we are going to get control is to beat them at their own game.

@phoenixone1 It will take people like Stacy Abrams, people coming in from out of state to help. What is sad is they did it once in the special election when Doug Jones ran against roy moore. Course moore was pretty vile but what happens in 2020? tommy tuberville, no governing experience but he's a college football coach. How are these people so dumb? I spent all day Friday watching the news because one of my crazy trumpster q neighbors was supposedly roaming the woods within 2 miles of my house after probably killing his wife. There was a video on someone's Facebook page of him talking about the pedophiles in the police department and the reason his friend got 5 years for federal arms violations. In the end he did kill his wife and shot himself. He also shot a deputy sheriff's seven times but the guy evidently survive because of his bulletproof vest.

I went to the local crime watch page and there were people there defending him and talking about the pedophiles in the police department. I knew my neighbors were all right wingers but I had no idea there were that many real crazies out there.

Panic won't help or change a thing. We are at the mercy of next year's vote. If that goes poorly then a shooting war will undoubtedly begin after 2024's vote. I have no desire to survive if 45 becomes 47, as well.

@rainmanjr even if we manage to win in 22' you KNOW the right is just going to use that as an excuse to start a CIVIL WAR...i don't see a way something WON'T start...that's the crux of it.
