I am different and odd to them, because I am not a follower. But, I know I come up in every conversation.

You are obviously dressing the way you want to. Is there a written or unwritten dress code at your family gatherings? What is the point of mentioning pale skin? Are you a suntanned goddess?

Pale skin because they don't do anything outside their house. Haha not a suntanned goddess, but I am outdoorsy.

Dress code is long dresses. I rather wear shorts with long socks and a superhero t-shirt.

You probably have a healthier complexion compared to theirs? You look a picture of vitality. You must be significant to them for them to talk about you. Hopefully in a complimentary way. Would it be worse that they never discussed you? To be so insignificant, not worthy of mention or even ignored?

Shorts, socks and T shirt. Aha, my childhood mode of dress. In summer, I go shorts T shirt and no socks. Am I being too revealing?
