What are you binge watching this weekend?
I'm doing my annual Earth Day binge watch of Life After People. Probably the best thing for the rest of life on Earth.
I've just rewatched my favorite Netflix series after giving up on several new series that bored me, but last night I stumbled across an old favorite.."Misfit" It's a hilarious British spoof of mutant teenager type movies.
Plot: a group of five teenagers doing communtiy service are caught in a violent, weird lightning storm that gives each of them a different superpower. Many other people in the town were also mutated, but usually in a bad way.
Bosch on Amazon. Based on Michael Connelly's books.
I really got into Bosch. Titus Welliver is really tight, and they attracted a couple of strong actors from The Wire.
@DinnerandaMovie I actually work behind the camera on this show. Titus I can tell you is the coolest actor that I’ve ever worked with. So is Jamie and Lance from the wire. I only discovered the wire while working on Bosch. It was really weird binge watching The Wire and then you come in to work and there’s Marlo smiling at you.
@twaseverthus That’s pretty fantastic. What a cool way to spend your day.
Horse races from Keeneland racetrack
Isn't that animal abuse? By the way I had two uncles that were mafia jockeys in PR so I know what I am asking you... isn't it cruelty to an animal?
Lost in Space (seems to be popular) and rewatching the Shannara Chronicles!
Alias Grace. It's Canadian, based on a book by Margaret Atwood. Very well done.
If I do watch something it is going to be Call the Midwife
Is the last season on Netflix, now? I love that show?
@GinaMaria I'm not sure, I'm not up to the last season yet. I had watched it when I had cable, and then didn't watch it or keep track of it for quite a while. Just started from the beginning recently.
My eyelids.
That's alot of sleep
@Phoenix1976 7 hrs a night.
Just finished Lost In Space. Trying to decide on my next binge.
Try Altered Carbon
I spent some time watching Mom, a CBS show. It starts slow (pilot) but gets better and better. It's very edgy and funny....surprised it's on a network though. No wonder kids are so jaded.
