For your information;
"EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has burned over $3 million of taxpayer money on a 24/7 security detail that took him to the Rose Bowl and Disneyland.
Pruitt’s shameless taxpayer-funded abuses go on. The New York Times reports this week that "E.P.A.’s inspector general [has] opened a new investigation into Mr. Pruitt’s use of the agency’s security team for personal travel," including lavish first-class airfare and private jets to Europe and Morocco. He even spent $43,000 illegally on a soundproof phone booth in his office.
The New York Times excoriates Pruitt in an editorial: “Mr. Pruitt is not just an industry lap dog but also an arrogant and vengeful bully and small-time grifter, bent on chiseling the taxpayer to suit his lifestyle and warm his ego.”
New York magazine decries Pruitt's "tornado of ethics scandals." Oh, and that condo? Taxpayers spent $2,300 of your money spent to repair a door that Pruitt's security detail broke down when he was "unresponsive" -- only to find he was napping in the middle of a weekday.
How could anyone be so disconnected from reality to think any of this was fine? Does he have no shame?
History is on our side. Huge public outcry over former HHS Secretary Tom Price’s private jet travel forced him to resign. Publicly shaming Trump’s Cabinet of Looters has worked and will work again.
