America is a Pecan Pie. Pecans from the native Americans, pie crust from the North Europeans, and sugar from the South. All blending together in perfect harmony, to create something delicious that no one culture alone could have dreamed of.
Sadly someone seems to have lost the recipe, and I don't know if we can reinvent it.
