I feel that VR and AI, especially, give us our best chance to survive Climate Change because they will eliminate a lot of physical waste and production needed to satisfy brain desires. If I can satisfy the brain's desire for snacking without really eating then biologic, production, and transportation effects of real food disappear. That's just one application but a whole lot more happen as well (not just employee production or Church attendance, which are minor and silly concerns to me. Employers have a right to know if an employee is wasting productive time wanking off in the bathroom, or anywhere else, as an example). Oddly, AI mimicks my theory of The Grand Illusion created by our EMS so it is an ultimate irony.
