How true is it that religion has done more harm than good in the world ? I’m more curious than ever.

I agree

Don’t know if it’s true or not but my common sense feeling tells me that anytime someone blindly follows something on “faith” eventually it becomes a zero sum game.

Honest, do you really care?

Just think, name one good think that religion is given credit for that couldn't have been done by a secular people. I can't think of anything. Some would say that monks kept the libraries up and running during the "Dark Ages," however, much thought and mathematics, and astronomy was going on elsewhere in the world - trying to avoid being Eurocentric. One could even blame religion for falling into the "Dark Ages" in Europe.

There was some pretty spectacular art created through "divine" inspiration, but I think other inspirations might have resulted in other spectacular creations as well.

@KKGator For there to be "divine" inspiration, there has to be a "divine" source. I think it would just be ordinary, human, imagination.

@jlynn37 Exactly my point.
