Ok I'll bite. Why?

I understand the totality of his contribution in a short period of time, and the environmental factors that shaped his Art. I knew about Keats, but I knew not the details. I find his life with purpose, but his existence sad. After watching the film bright star, I new their was much I needed to learn about the Poet.

@Etre Thank you for your insight. There are many writers, composers, artists who have led troubled lives and in many cases died tragically young. One that I have been reading about recently is Robert Schumann.

@Coffeo yes Schumann, I am not well versed on him. I think I might have 1 record. I am multi genre in study of Art. And Classical Composers and Jazz musicians are my strong point. I kind of remember doing studies on Schumann, but I do not recall. But I will begin again because he is a contemperary of Chopin, Liszt, and Beehtoven. I am kind of partial to Beehtoven, his 5th piano concerto, third movement, is the only piece of music that moved me to tears. I will say that I love to find Artists that I do not know. The Boroque period is probably my favorite. And if their was another composer that touched me deeply, I would say Monsieur Sainte-Columbe. He has an amazing story, deeply moving. And he is some what unknown even though he is a Great Composer and added the 7th string to the viola de gamba. He was also a Great friend of Lully(the Great French Composer of Boroque who was not French).... you will enjoy learning about him. Then you might check out Alexander Scriabin. And then you might know Arvo Part. He is modern and his work Fratres is one Great work of Art for this time period... enjoy

I am familiar with Schumann's Fantasie, and a couple of his other works. Relearning his life though. Thank You.
