Why are those religious leaders so opposed to it? Truth be told, probably most of them are latent homosexuals. Hypocrites. Catholic Priest and Protestant Clergy have been in the closet for 1000 years.

Conversion therapy doesn't work. It can push the person to suicide. Anyone pushing for it should be locked up for life.
