Aliens? UFOs? What's your take?
I think based upon evidence I've seen that other intelligent life exists besides humans. Where it comes from, don't know. Have ideas but just speculation. Authorities are hiding information that much I'm convinced of.

After 30 to 45 minutes, the RAF sent a night fighter, a Venom two-seater, in pursuit of the
object. The Lakenheath air traffic radar control center guided it in the direction of the object 10 km east of the center. The pilot acquired the target visually and on radar, then lost it. The center then directed the plane 16 km to the east of Lakenheath; the pilot again acquired the target and said, "my machine guns are locked onto him. " A short time afterward, he once again lost his target; but the target was followed by the radar operators at the center. They informed the pilot that the object had made a rapid movement to position itself behind him and was following him at a short distance. The pilot confirmed [this]. Watched by the radar technicians, the pilot tried every maneuver for about 10 minutes in order to move back behind the object (steep climbs, dives, sustained turns), but he didn't succeed: the UFO followed him at a constant distance according to the ground radars. Finally, low on fuel, he returned to base, asking that someone tell him whether the object continued to follow him. The UFO did, in fact, follow him for a short distance, then came to a standstill. The radar technicians then saw the object make several short moves, then leave in a northerly direction at about 950 km/h and disappear from radar range at 0330 hours.

I can't imagine that with all the planets and matter out there in space that we haven't even explored yet, that there aren't intelligent beings, likely more intelligent than us, who might be patrolling the planets known to them to have "intelligent" life on them.
I like the hint in the comment from the video posted by @racocn8 that perhaps there is intelligent life trying to make sure we don't destroy our whole planet. I'm thinking that would upset the balance of things for other planets twirling around their stars, etc. I don't know. Or maybe looking to our planet for a 2nd home when their star goes out or who knows. It's fun to imagine, but I really don't think any aliens would look like us in anyway, but who knows.
If the government is hiding something, it could be that they don't want to worry average folks or get vigilantes shooting at things in the sky. Sure would love to see all the classified information, but I wouldn't know what to do with it!

Please have a look at this video. Chris Mellon is a serious player having managed to compel the Pentagon to validate videos he had a hand in releasing. And I've tried to put thoughtful posts in the group.
And then there is Luiz Elizondo who is very cagey in what he'll say. It's a good interview though.
