At the moment, my answer is buy the condo above me and keep it empty or use it for storage. That is because someone is walking loudly on the floor at this moment, not realizing it's my ceiling. After that expense, definitely travel when it's safe to do so, but mostly stay where I am and just be more generous to the hard working folks around me and organizations that add value to my life and increase the well being of others.
I recall that my 8 year old daughter was with me one morning when I filled out a lottery ticket in a local newsagent. At the counter when paying for my lottery ticket, I asked my daughter what I should do I if win the lottery. Her reply: "Dad, we can buy all the sweets in the shop and tell the man to keep the change."
Certainly, travel is high on the list of things to do if I win the lottery. Find some worthwhile causes that do not exist for the provision of executive lifestyles. A quick glance around the car park of the headquarters of any charity is usually a good indication.
