A neighbor sent this video on FB. I build lots of nesting boxes and never thought of what goes on inside them. What a great video. I have seen birds checking out some of my different boxes but now see it’s sometimes a critical choice. Kind of like buying a home (before the craziness). [facebook.com]

I put out about half a dozen. Most summers I’m lucky if two or three of them get tenants. They are fun to watch when the are active.

But from the inside. It's a brilliant idea. I have one style that is multi level and every year I watch a bird checking each one out and opting for one specific one. With a different bird it's a different choice.
