Seriously does anybone ever get anywhere with on line dating?. Are there people in the world anymore? It'll happen the mythical true love maybe positive thinking and all that, but beaing a realist and sceptical one sucks some times. Does anyone else wish you could down your sense of disbelief just to have more in common with people.Shit nevermind I would never be happpy with a normal person what ever normal I in the first place.

I dunno. I got married when on-chat was in it's infancy. Had it been popular 3 years earlier, I don't know that I would have ever gotten married.

SACatWalker, You are incorrect. Dan and I broke up in 2009. We stayed friends and hiking partners until Dan moved to Utah two years ago.

I only date one man at a time. Dating more than one person is crazy-making for all involved.

No, I didn't join Agnostic.com to find a man to date. I am here for the discussions and posts.

Nobody is perfect, including me. Of course I know the perfect man doesn't exist. There are positives and negatives in every relationship.

I want an intelligent man with a great sense of humor. Someone with a healthy lifestyle, who loves hiking, and treats me with kindness, respect and love.

Fitness Singles has been a good way to meet athletes with a healthy lifestyle. And what a body!

Dan and I are now good friends and hiking partners. We met through Match.com.

"I love you," Greg said last week. Greg and I have been dating on-and-off for three years. "Did you just say you love me?" I asked. "It just slipped out," he replied evenly. We met through OK Cupid. The jury is still out.

Being an ATHEIST in a sea of believers is isolating. So, while I don't wish to be anybody else, I do acknowledge that I would have more friends and more potential partners if I could only "believe." It'll never happen and I am at peace with the fact that it MAY mean I'll be single the rest of my life. There are worse fates in life, no doubt.

But, yes, in a way it sucks to know that sooooooooooooooooo many people believe in supernatural silliness. Especially my generation and older. It's gotta be over 90%.

I've had some decent success with online dating. I don't get approached in real life, so I use the internet to meet guys. I like online dating because it allows me to filter out people who have traits that I don't particularly like

Did meet someone here 2 months ago on the other side of the country. Anything is possible. We ended up friends. I'm willing to try it again should I have chemistry with someone on the phone and/or skyping.
