Any crafters out there?
Currently I'm into crochet but I also do beadwork, chainmail, paper quilling so on and so forth... I'm thinking the list of art's/craft's I haven't tried is much shorter than what I have.

Have done knit, crochet and needlework. Currently do some quilting and other sewing projects. Used to make teddy bears. Arthritis and carpal tunnel don’t let me do near as much as I used to. I do miss it.

Aww that sucks. I ended up with Carpel tunnel when working at a plastics plant. It SUCKS! I was devastated I couldn't even feed myself very well. I was retrained on computers. I'm still crafting 20 years later and I didn't have the operation yet. Arthritis isn't fun either I have it in my hips and back. Have you tried tatting? Apparently it can be helpful.

I guess that will do I made lampwork beads. I need a proper setup now that I have moved. The blanket is crocheted I made it for my mom but my aunt was dying of lung cancer so I gave it to her instead. 😟 Mom now has it. The bunny is crocheted out of a single strand of embroidery thread it it is about an inch high mom has it to. I play poker incase you didn't know 🙂 chainmail anodized aluminum euro 4-1 , beaded peyote stitch 11/0 seed beads, chainmaill stainless steel and enameled copper euro 4-1, beaded peyote stitch 8/0 seed beads. Finally my favorite one Chainmail Euro 4-1 Sterling silver with anodized niobium handmade hook and eye clasp. Apparently its supper time. BBL

I’ve always wanted to learn lampwork. Haven’t gotten that far yet. I just enjoy making beaded jewelry and some beadweaving.

I just adore your buttons. As a knitter, I am always on the lookou for intersting buttons! Love the bracelets.

@graceylou it sure is fun. If you have a stained glass place nearby they may also do classes. When I lived in Calgary I would rent bench time at the stained glass place.

@Spinliesel Thank you. Those are all handmade glass beads but I'm sure if they were thinner they could be used as buttons. I have seen broken ones used as buttons now that I think about it. Generally when they break they just split in half. all someone would need to do is melt the middle a little and add a metal loop. I don't have the equipment to anneal them yet.

@VNCallan It looks so much fun. I’m a bit of a pyrophobe though. Anything involving flames scares me, even candles. LOL. But I do want to try it sometime.

@graceylou Take a class from a professional for sure. It is a lot of fun and strangely hypnotic.

@VNCallan Oh for sure. My friends and I had planned to take a class with pros but somehow never made it. May be we will try again.

We have a group of Crafters and artists. Click on Meet, then select Groups, then Join. We love new people. It is inspiration to see their work.

Awesome I will go join 🙂

I think I joined the right group. 🙂

I do some crochet and knitting. I most enjoy beadwork and cross stitch. I've done some chain maille as well. Other than that I do a lot of sewing type crafts including a bit of quilting.

I love it I'm working on a crafting youtube channel and will be floating through different crafts. Its so much fun doing things that we and others can appreciate.

@Renickulous Yup and going to start a stream in a few min. I do an audiobook / crafting club thing. I chose Dante's Divine Comedy for the first book boy was that a mistake soooo lonnnnnggg lol

have you tried rustic furniture?

That's so cool. I have made some furniture but not much.

@VNCallan thank you

I've done chain maille too! Hands are getting too old for that stuff anymore.

Apparently tatting is good for keeping the hands nimble.
