Parents are putting their children into sports way too early.
Did you ever see a bunch of 2-year-olds playing soccer on Saturday morning. 2 y/o care about the following things, in roughly the following order:
• Sticks
• Airplanes
• Holes in the ground
• Big rocks
• Little rocks
• Other kids
• Soccer

Yep. We took my one son to soccer as a kid, about 5. He did nothing. We stopped. He started playing in Middle School and played semi pro into his 30s. Kids are all different. My oldest played t-ball at 5 and ended up playing baseball from then til college. Each kid is different. 2 is too young, in my mind, for any team sport.
