Has anyone here had a problem quitting cigarettes?
I smoked for over 50 years and if I'd known it was so easy to quit with chantix I would've quit sooner
I forgot to start smoking earlier in life. So it was pretty easy for me to stop something I never started.
Chantix is the Champ quitting method, worked on me.
I gave up smoking after 40 years. That was 7 years ago and I gave up by switching to vaping (E-Cigs). It's a hell of a lot more healthy than smoking, no carcinogens, and a hell of a lot cheaper, and it's the only smoking alternative where you still have the same satisfaction (from the nicotine). Nicotine is only the addiction in cigarettes, but it's the tar and chemicals, absent in E-Cigs, that are the killers in cigarettes. I still vape now, and will give up at some point, but to be honest, I'm not in any great hurry to.
I quit ten years ago. Cold turkey. After many attempts.
Chantix is a drug to fight an addiction to a drug. Be careful when you quit taking it, as the mental addiction could rebound on you.
Good luck. Believe it or not, it’s 99% mental and only 1% physical.
