Yes, it's a sad thing - and I hope people aren't making fun of the syndrome.

Delirium, high fever and severe brain fog are real symptoms of Covid-19 with the brain fog lasting months for those who suffer through the long covid syndrome.

In January of 2020 I had some sickness, possibly covid-19, and I was really delirious and said some super weird things to the few people I spoke with during that time. It was really sad that I was not thinking rationally and saying crazy things, but thankfully it was temporary.

I THINK I have recovered totally, as I don't catch myself behaving or talking irrationally 2 years later. I have a problem trying to laugh about it, even now, because I accused a friend of some weird things that he probably didn't do, but I wasn't able to think right.

It was meant as sarcasm (yes, I know that is the lowest form of wit) about people who make manifestly irrational decisions.

As somebody with my own mental health issues, I can identify with what you went through.

@anglophone Okay - I wasn't sure the purpose of the comment. Thanks for the clarification.

That also describes a few other brains as well.
