Thank you for confirmation that my instinct is correct. I will soon be resigning from my HOA Board of Directors and becoming the constant thorn in their side. How does a 25-year-old man, recently out of the USMC, decide it is okay to become president of an HOA with no knowledge of HOAs in general, this one specifically, and doesn’t even bother to read the governing documents before running? THEN, demonstrates at his first meeting that he has not only no knowledge of Parliamentary Procedure, or how to conduct a meeting…and quite possibly has never even attended a meeting before? He’s going to college on the G.I. Bill…yeah, it will look good on his resume when he looks for a job.
