I have a ritual each morning.
I wake.
I sigh at the ceiling then get my feet on the floor.
I stumble across to the laptop. Check the news to see if Donald Trump has destroyed the world yet.
It's a daily watch.
And then I like to indulge in some of my favourite YouTube clips. You know, the funny ones. The iconic ones. This somehow reboots me.

@Palindromeman my fave film ever. one of them doesn't breath out cold breath
@LeighShelton I must go back and watch again (for the millionth time). Some years ago I ran a Call of Cthulhu campaign for my role players, which was based in Antarctica. I ensured we all watched The Thing together to create that sense of paranoia.
@Palindromeman its the film I watch time and time again. my fave film for many reasons and always will be.
I turn the tv on to see if its still there and make my coffee.
