Help needed from you bible scholars. An acquaintance stated that “there is no violence in the Bible”. Please note chapter and verse for me to print out for her to research.

The entire story of Jericho and neighboring cities by Jewish conquest (every living thing is ordered to be slain, even the pregnant ones, and brutalized before hand). The Flood, in which everyone (including pregnant folks) die except for 8 people for "sins" which were going to be recreated by the new people.

Well, I don’t read the Bible, so other than agreeing with you, all I can say is, please provide the evidence to the contrary.
