What is a nickname that your friends and/or family call you or have called you in the past?
Type it below, then we have to try to figure it how you earned said nickname ....
I'll start with mine below!!
I was living in Germany and there was a big American/British contingent there. A popular radio show on the radio was 'Wolfman Jack'. Since my name is Jack I became 'Wolfy' Today, I am involved with the BLM (Bureau of Land Management). I had to take a course on computer security and then received a certificate of completion. The certificate misspelled my name to Perdigo. The director and closest friend calls me Perd (over and over ad nauseam). I call him Bubba because of all his ya's, yer's and yall's in his speech.
shots or shotgun.
Conceived in a pickup.
No.
Still no. Good reasoning, eveatrat, but the reason is more simple and direct than that
You like to take a 'shotgun' approach when attacking a problem.
No. Still more simple and direct.
You got it, evestrat -- and I did most of my hunting with a 16 gauge shotgun.
In high school everyone called me 'Batson.'
That's a tough one.
You loved Batman and so you were called Bat's son
My surname is Batson.
Pumpkin.
Roundish face? (no offense)
badger
WHAT. ?
Are you mean and tough?
not a sports fan
appear to be tough but that was only part of the reason.something more concrete
Do you have a white mark running up your forehead?
You are tenacious and like to dig into things(investigate).
Does that mean you aren't going to tell us?
@heathenfarmer you have the best descriptor with tenacity and digging into things!. THe more concrete part of it is I am always digging in dirt and moving rocks. The Navajos called me that when I lived on that reservation
That's a cool story.
I like badgers, they are one of my favourite animals. They have a real fuck you attitude without beginning aggressive. I have many of them living on my farm and I forbid anyone to hunt or trap them. They can actually be domesticated and when they are they can be very affectionate pets more like dogs than cats. One of my neighbours had one.
They are extremely smart and will team up with a coyote to hunt. I have seen them travel together while hunting, it seems that the strategy of having someone on top of the ground and someone underground benefits the success of both animals in the hunt.
If you ever get the chance to see baby ones you will see adorable creatures.
Edderd That's the only nickname I've had. People have called me some bad things, but they've all washed off like mud.
@evestrat I'm blushing.
There were 5 of us kids. My Dad assigned names to all of us after Newspaper Comics. I was Charlie Brown.
D-day
Nope.
Think college.
Last minute studier
Faber College
I'm surprised nobody got 'Animal House'. You even can tell from your picture. Or maybe it's because we're old?
Gogo
Creamcheese
Like a gogo girl. I could see you wearing a mini with kneehigh white boots. Cream cheese because your smooth, spread easily, and tasty.
Gogo - you liked to move about
Cream Cheese - you are very fair skinned and don't tan worth a damn
