Depends on what it is. If is just a disc then you are good to go. Had my first back surgery in early 80's and with that they required a mylogram , now done with MRI. You can only fall to your knees with gratitude for the MRI, The other is really a spinal tap.
Then in the late nineties I had the second back surgery and it was the micro surgery . Done on a Thursday afternoon and I was mowing the lawn Monday morning, Fine ever since, Today's medical advances are indeed substantial.
