I read that she was drunk and just had an argument with her boyfriend. Given the speed, I suspect she was trying to commit suicide and didn't care about who she took with her. Or? She was a nurse. Maybe exhausted from Covid?

@SeaGreenEyez People are depressed. I don't blame them. Things have been pretty deranged here lately.
How tragic. It's amazing - and a shame - that the driver survived.

@SeaGreenEyez Yeah. I read an article where it showed four (3?) of the victims were a pregnant woman, her partner, and their 11-month old son, and my first thought was the number of people who wouldn't focus on the tragedy of a whole family be killed, but instead go off on young people of color having one baby after another.
@SeaGreenEyez Wtf? I don't understand how they can charge her with first degree - on what basis, just the sheer horror of it? So now she gets the mental health care so she can realize the full impact of what she's done. No winners here.
