I've noticed some strange posts and responses of late including one or two of my own. A few hours ago I noticed a very full moon rising in the east but full moon isn't until 29th April. Google has this to say about it - The April full moon is typically known as the Full Pink Moon or the full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon and the Fish Moon. You can see our full April Full Moon Guide here. Our taxi drivers often claimed that rather than the full moon bringing the crazies out it was the new moon when they experienced their worst passengers.
Anyone else have any comments to make and enlighten us all or as we used to say "get the dirty water off their chest"?
This is the one superstition I have sometimes thought there may be some credence to. As a child I loved the "In Search Of..." series hosted by Leonard Nimoy. In one episode they postulated that since humans are almost two thirds water, full moons may have an effect on us as they do the tides. On multiple occasions, without prior knowledge that it was a full moon, I've said to myself "Damn! People are driving crazy today". I could have nearly said that about this past Friday (April 27th), but I don't know if the moon was full or nearly so. Perhaps there was a boost in certain drivers water content from Friday evening alcohol consumption However, my skepticism will keep me agnostic on the matter for now.
