My strong, beautiful daughter made it through her surgery today. Tumor was bigger than they thought but they got it all out (and punctured her bladder in the process-oops! It was stitched up and checked out by another doctor- I assume a urologist). They did have to remove nearby lymph nodes as well. She is doing well, staying drugged up to avoid pain and her sense of humor is intact!
