I hate halloween. It promotes talking to neighbours.

I went for a bike ride this afternoon and passed by a fellow walking his dog, the dog was barking all holy hell at me, and I wasn't even wearing a costume! I passed by another neighbor who was walking to the local watering hole for specialty party drinks. I am glad I'm choosing to stay home. Funny I don't think I've seen this particular neighbor since last Halloween when she was walking to the same place, looking for a party.

Not so bad. My neighbors just came by to give me a cactus apple. They seem very nice.

I'm with you on this, also here, there's more traffic than usual and people think it gives them a right to be more annoying because they're in costumes.

We had much less kids this year, plus it's raining. I don't like Halloween as a drunken adult holiday. I buy candy to give out to kids, because they're neighbors. I don't want to be "That Guy"

My wife and I have always favored secluded properties. In Bellevue WA our house was down the hill from the street (you had to drive in from the back side to get to it) and most trick-or-treat aged kids were afraid to try the blackberry tunnel to get to the front door after dark. We never got many visitors.

Here in AZ it's simply too far to get to the house to be worth the effort for a handful of candy. Again, we don't particularly mind visitors but seldom get any.🙂
