If you look at a map of Texas it is dotted with many lakes. But Texas only has one natural lake and it is in east Texas and named Caddo Lake. Beautiful area to explore by canoe. You may see a few alligators.

@yvilletom I dunno. It was on the internet, but it didn't seem 'sensenationalised" (is that a a word?), rather matter of fact

Australia the same. They only fill after major rain events
