Let's see who remembers these guys. Once i heard the song, I did have a vague memory. Did not remember their name at all. Endorsed by a young Bob Dylan.

Never heard this before.

Very influential in Texas/ SW states. Roots rock before it was called that. Contemporaries with Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. The British Invasion suits and haircuts were what bands had to do to placate the record company; later on they looked more like Willie Nelson.

I remember these guys! I'm not sure what Dylan saw in them, though.

It helps to remember that these guys played in TexMexas.....think that their music wouldn't fill a dance floor? Despite the suits and haircuts, what Dylan saw was real people making real music.....

@jasen I know lots of real musicians, some worth listening to, and some not.
