Best novels that I have ever read are Kurt Vonnegut's stuff so if you want a great read and have'nt tried him go ahead. 'mother night' is a good starter novel for his stuff!

If they are doing a follow up I most certainly shall not read it, the initial one must have been the most boring novel I have ever read 'death comes to amphora' is it's name go ahead and read, see what it is like. Best done in bed as it gets one to sleep quickly!

Is it on Amazon Kindle yet? What is the subject/genre? I love new indie books, but only if they are engaging and well-written.

Some of the worst, most poorly written books I've read are self-published, but then someone like Misha Burnett comes along with the Catskinner series and I'm in awe!

Congratulations, imagine it was not easy, be careful of the 'self-important' trap. I know someone who wrote a 'boring' novel years ago, he's had an over inflated ego ever since. He's 80 odd now and toy failed as a writer. His only source of funding is Arts grants and that is even 'drying-up'. Old enough to retire but is still seeking 'fame'!
