I need advice and find so many businesses have incompetent employees. Nobody knows anything any longer and corporations appear not to care. The heart of the matter in my case is that my 35 year old portable Maytag dishwasher needs replaced. Living alone I have thought of buying a countertop dishwasher. Watched videos on these all weekend. Of course, you have to order them as I do not find any on display in stores. My boss says her daughter has had one for 2 years now. Does anyone have one and how long have you had it? What do you recommend buying?

With a weekend of videos on these products on Amazon and You Tube, now I switch to The Marx Brothers working at the local Walmart Supercenter. Many items can be ordered and shipped in to the local Walmart but I found the man I was talking to did not know what a countertop dishwasher was. I explained that it is not a portable and is sort of like a toy dishwasher in that you can carry it from one place to another, but it really does wash dishes. I wanted to get opinions from the person who worked at the counter where ordered in parts arrive but was told they do not have that any longer. You guessed it. He took me to the Toy Department and I talked to the head honcho there who said he handles all of that now. Sorry. I don't think so. If it was true he would also be handling tires you ordered or a fridge you had ordered, etc.

As I left that department I asked about a kitchen cart with wheels so I could view their stock and decide what I wanted to buy. Everything has changed in these Walmarts to where you would think a madman did the planograms. Corporate employees would never shop there. They sent me to an area where they have plastic shelves and none of them with wheels. Come on guys. None of this is even close to what you see Online. A few people working there have told me that they do not even know where everything is. I believe it.

Back to me wanting advice on buying a good countertop dishwasher. Does anyone have knowledge or experience here. I do not want to wash dishes in my sink.

I would get one of these,
or just wash my dishes in the sink.

I DO NOT WANT to wash dishes in the sink and when I had one of those they did not want to either. That is why we had a dishwasher in the first place.

The covid shutdown is the culprit for all the incompetence. Many people left their jobs for other ventures, and companies, medical facilities, and doctors offices had to hire new people. A lot of them were probably on-the-job trainees. I have had many problems as well trying to get things done or questions answered, etc.

Amazon sells them. But they look like they take up a lot of counter space.

They are usually 28 X 22 and about 19 high, but some are smaller. I wanted opinions from people who had them or knew someone who did. Amazon could get me one pretty quickly if they do not damage it. Comfee and Farberware are brands I am most interested in from them right now.
