This is my first attempt at growing Romaine Lettuce from scraps. I wasn't sure if it would work from store bought (extended refrigeration) varieties, but so far so good! The first picture was taken indoors (so apologies for the crappy lighting), but each of the others were taken outside (with natural light) and you can clearly see the difference in the amount of growth! Not sure how soon l need to plant them in soil, but l'll be sharing more when l do!

Have you ever grown kale - and if so, do you have any tips? My friend and me are going to start growing it for her rabbits because it's getting quite expensive and they get through two bags a day.

Unfortunately, no. Not to sound cliche', but have you tried looking on the internet...?? I have zero experience with kale, but l'm sure there's someone out there who does! Hope you can find for what you're looking...?

@Free_2B_Me Indeed I have; however, you can't beat direct advice from an expert!
