First the Southern US, now the British isles, having extreme cold weather and snow.
These are the lowest UK temperatures since 2010.
Global warming certainly manifests itself in extreme ways.
It reminds me of our old kerosene powered fridge back in 1940s Kenya. Amazing how a small, blue flame could create ice - albeit damnably slowly.

Remember all that blistering heat last summer? People were dying because they didn't have AC.

And 6 months later, dying from cold.

@Petter "Climate change can't POSSIBLY be real"......right? 🙂

@pamagain Nah! It's all a communist/capitalist/scientologist (delete as needed) plot to conquer the world

Yep it is cold here, especially on the east coast where I live.

I’ll come warm you up!

Yes, the cold is finally here, along with wind! Snow coming on the weekend.

@MsKathleen That would be far more than I deserve. But you would be most welcome.

@MsKathleen, @Organist1 Has been a very mild winter so far, then the cold comes with the spring.

@Organist1 To which part of "nowhere" do you refer? My area is currently "suffering" 23°C daytime highs.

@Petter Ouch, that is hot.

@Petter Southeast PA., Philly's western 'burbs.

@Petter That sounds lovely. I long for days like that.

@Organist1 Come to South East Spain, but leave before July, when 40+°C days are commonplace.

@Fernapple That is still cold, but bearable.
Wait till July, when days that only reach 35°C are greeted as blessed relief from the heat!

@Petter 30 C is more than enough for me.

@Petter I'd love to, but wow! That's scorching. People here complain when it's 90 F. and humid. I think it's the humidity that makes most of us uncomfortable.

@Fernapple That's why we drive to England in July each year - except that last July, when we reached Surrey, it was one degree hotter than when we had left our home.
Today, by the way, was a glorious 24 degrees, with low humidity.

@Petter Deep envy. Had I not got so many obligations to friends and family, my dream would be to live half the year in Iberia. (Portugal in my case.)
