Yes, the cold is finally here, along with wind! Snow coming on the weekend.

@Organist1 To which part of "nowhere" do you refer? My area is currently "suffering" 23°C daytime highs.

@Petter I'd love to, but wow! That's scorching. People here complain when it's 90 F. and humid. I think it's the humidity that makes most of us uncomfortable.

@Fernapple That's why we drive to England in July each year - except that last July, when we reached Surrey, it was one degree hotter than when we had left our home.
Today, by the way, was a glorious 24 degrees, with low humidity.

@Petter Deep envy. Had I not got so many obligations to friends and family, my dream would be to live half the year in Iberia. (Portugal in my case.)
