The best. Ever.

He is easily my favorite comedian of all time. He broke what seems to be a fairly common trend of comedians, in that he was a relevant entertainer for 3 or 4 decades. Most comedians are lucky to get 10 years if they are good. To me, Carlin is the standard all others are measured.

I have posted his comedic rants on Facebook more than once to respond to people. He had the perfect mix of insight, humor, and rage.

I do have to watch where I use his humor though. I got in trouble because I made a joke to a coworker, and was told it was inappropriate. She said "The cotton-balls are over there." and without thinking about it "Oh, cotton-balls is a dirty word." I still don't think that was really inappropriate, but to each their own.

I am sorry to say George has recently passed away, I will miss him. I often U Tube an hour or so of one of his stand ups, put on my phones and lie on the bed for a very relaxing time of laughter. [ Try Jethro or Jim Jefferies for similar styles. ]
