Does anybody else have unique, interesting or strange hobbies? I have had a few hobbies that are a bit different. One was underwater treasure hunting using dive gear and underwater metal detectors and another was Aquaponics which is growing plants using the waste from fish in an inert growth medium. What is your special hobby?

I like encouraging people in artistic endeavours I have a first in fine and applied art and have made a lot of quirky scultures in a varety of materials but find a love now not particulary teaching but showing what is possible its interesting to sort of sculpt people to be more open and adventurous with colours textures and materials - It s not my job just a hobby of being with people who want to share.
Don't know if I'd call it "special" but I've gotten some weird looks - I volunteer to photograph headstones for the website findagrave.com. It's like a macabre scavenger hunt; I find it very relaxing. I also index records for Family Search.
Gravestone Photography qualifies as unique in my books. Very Cool!
I drive ponies competitively. The sport is called combined driving!
I've actually seen videos of that hobby and it is really neat.
@Surfpirate Some think it might be boring, until I get them on the back of the carriage!
Aside from my 'normal' hobbies (writing, painting, etc) I also am teaching myself how to cast items in Pewter.
Sweet, just remember to mind those lead fumes.
@Surfpirate I always use lead-free pewter
@DerekD shows what I know, my hobby of treasure diving the pewter all has lead but then the pewter is all very old.
