But.... about 90 to 95 percent of all people who die while at work ('on the job'😉 are men.
Just imagine it would be women...

I must say that in the UK there would probably be no men's safety items, only safety items, or safety wear which would be unisex. Though women's would obviously be specific perhaps.

Pretty sure Google is a British search engine.

@KateOahu Yes but it is area specific.

I Googled Women’s Safety Equipment. 75% of the listings were for personal safety like mace and stun guns. The rest of the adv were for hard hats, safety shoes, etc

I didn’t check for the men’s safety equipment and go down the ammosexual rabbit hole

“Safety Items” as defined by Google…few “self defense” items for men; mostly “self defense” items for women.

Here are the searches.

For women

And I don’t know why women lacrosse players aren’t required to wear helmets. It’s just as dangerous and competitive. I live in the home of lacrosse.

Quite an indictment of modern society.

Did you confirm it? I did. If nothing else, it certainly is accurate commentary about society.

@KateOahu Yep. Hundreds of men's protective wear, from boots and gloves to clip-on safety harnesses.
Not one similar item for women, not even a cycling glove, but loads of alarms, sprays and devices to ward off attacks.
