Biology is a more pure science than the social science's. But even biology has lots of grey areas. Why Fauci was such an idiot thinking his decrees when questioned were "Anti science". If science can't be challenged, it's not science. Science demands to be challenged.
What this post signifies I think, is a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. But so is arrogance and a lot of scientist are very arrogant.

Do those sort of arguments still get used. They were not really even acceptable misunderstandings of evolution, even in the nineteenth century. Even a reading of Darwin, at the very beginning of modern evolutionary theory, would have made it obvious they were not true.
