"Before the Christian dismisses atheism as irrational or condemns the atheist as immoral, he should consider the disturbing possibility that the God of Christianity is himself an atheist. And if this is true, it means that the Christian worships, obeys, and has devoted his life to an atheistic being who does not believe in any power superior to itself, never prays, is utterly without fault, and who does not acknowledge any authority, either cognitive or moral, external to himself.
Satan is not an atheist - that much is clear - for he believes in the God of Christianity. We thus have the intriguing spectacle of a battle between two Titans, with God the Atheist on the side of good, and Satan the Theist on the side of evil. And if the Bible is to be believed, the Atheist will ultimately triumph over the Theist."

God doesn't believe in himself? Self-doubting?
here a Wikihow that will help: [wikihow.com]
whoah, i'm getting satanic kinks in my atheist brain whorls! & it tickles
So who does God look to as HIS creator? Of course this kind of statement (yours) is based on logic. No religious person would ever fall for that.
This is a confusion between belief and knowledge. You do not believe that when you jump into the air that you will fall back to the ground, you know it. God and Satan if they existed would be neither theists or atheists, they would have knowledge of something that we don't. If there was proof one way or the other, there would be no more theists or atheists. You would only have flat-earth idiots and everyone else.
Trying to make a case for something too often includes confirmation bias. He thought this would be a good philosophical point for his book that nobody else thought of, and so he applied and ignored faulty logic. God is considered my most to be omniscient, therefore he would also know of a creator of himself once again having knowledge and not belief making terms based on belief irrelevant.
Belief is only necessary where knowledge does not exist.
Why do people believe God is on the side of good, and the devil on the side of bad? If you believe anything that happens in the bible, it's the serpent, who was supposedly Satan, that encouraged Adam and Eve to eat from the "tree of knowledge". God wanted them to remain ignorant. Then God commits numerous acts of genocide and killing etc etc etc. That's good? Lol
@VictoriaNotes Somehow my comment got edited.
So God gives humans "free will", supposedly, and then punishes them for acting on that free will and curiosity to learn etc. In our society, who wants to keep people in the dark but those who wish to take advantage of them?
I have never thought of it that way. And I have never heard it put that way. Thanks for sharing.
Personality I think that whole line of reasoning sucks.
@VictoriaNotes Sorry, still think it sucks!
@VictoriaNotes Evidently common sense is difficult for some folks. ?
@VictoriaNotes What the Hell happend? It kind of went sideways. ☺
@VictoriaNotes Why not?
