I have just been let in on the news that Agnostics is up and running again…thank you Patricia aka @Lilac-JadeCanada for letting me know!
Glad to be back folks and will celebrate shortly by posting some music in my Music Groups…it’s 11.30 pm here in the UK so it’ll be to wish you all a cheery hello and goodnight!
You got back just before me. I discovered I could get back by pure chance.
How nice to hear from you Roger..glad you found out too.
Silver Otter let me know but I am having mixed feelings. I've been able to do house projects and work on the garden.
I also discovered, painfully, a possible side affect of agnostic. It's called piriformis syndrome:
"You may have heard of sciatica, a pain that starts in the buttocks and runs down one or both legs. Sciatica is usually caused by pressure or irritation of nerves in the lower back. One condition that causes pressure on those nerves is called piriformis syndrome. The piriformis is a muscle that extends from the front of the sacrum. That’s the triangle-shaped bone between your two hipbones in your pelvis. The muscle extends across the sciatic nerve to the top of the femur. The femur is the large bone in your upper leg.The piriformis helps the thigh move side to side. A piriformis muscle spasm can put pressure on the sciatic nerve and cause symptoms. The result is piriformis syndrome."
One cause: sitting for extended periods
Too bad…sometimes we are made to suffer for our pleasures!
@Marionville You mean our addictions lol.
@jackjr Of course…mere slip of the tongue!
We are glad to see you back.
Thank you..it’s certainly reciprocated!
Howdy. Good to see you! I'm soujourning in Italy at present, after 6 weeks in England.
I’d love to be there too…enjoy!
@Marionville I'm in the Como area and temperatures are only a pleasant mid 20s. A lot of my Italian relatives are currently sweltering in mid 30s temperatures. My own home, in South East Spain, hit 40 yesterday my neighbour told me via WhatsApp.
@Petter I love it around Como and the other lakes…I’m green with envy!
@Marionville I'll send you a photo fromy favourite lake. It's a small one in an area called Montorfano. (Orphan mountain, because it isn't attached to the other Alpine hills.)
It is surrounded by forest, but has grassy banks and a sandy floor, and a gentle slope, meaning it is ideal for swimming in,
There's a lovely, shack-like bar about 40 metres from the shore, overlooking it.
@Petter Go ahead…I look forward to it!
