We're through the looking glass here, a former president and shoe-in for the GOP nomination faces vast criminal and civil prosecution. Yes, some or all of it it politically motivated ... but that Trump committed countless crimes definitely was a gift to prosecutors. Baring some new development, it's going to be a sheetshow if Trump wins or loses in 2024. Interesting times indeed.

No, he's actually the symptom. The disease, is how much of an unresponsive plutocracy our political system is, equally the fault of both major parties, and the system of legalized bribery, that has left the voters, those of whom still bother to vote, with only two corrupt parties to choose from, neither of which gives a damn about their welfare or concerns. So all that paves the way for con artists like Trump to be able to convince gullible, angry, white working class people into thinking he cares about them and will change things to benefit them. So here we are......
