"I am a father."
Shai Davidai, an Israeli-American Assistant Professor of Management at Columbia Business School, New York, called out university presidents by name for allowing incitement against Jews by pro-terror organisations on campus.
“To the pro-terror organisations on campus…my two year-old daughter is a legitimate target of resistance; that’s what they’re saying, you’re allowed to murder and kidnap my two year-old daughter in the name of resistance; and none of the presidents of universities all around the country are willing to take a stand”.

He is a lone voice on America's campuses. Jews simply don't count as victims anymore. They may be slaughtered by the hundreds, they deserve it. If only they were PoC - but no, they are white colonizers who show no remorse.
Anti-Semitism is simply not racism any more, it's a virtue among the identitarian Left.
I guess Hitler is chuckling in hell...
I don't see Jews as victims, either. They are not a special case. Why should they? But why bring up those matters, let alone getting children involved? We, adults, are supposed to protect them. It's not about whether they are Jews or Palestinians, like the professor points out. It's bonkers that Israeli children, and Palestinian children, are targetted amidst the political polarisation in the US, 6,700 miles away from those countries.
Although such polarisation is still moderate in the UK, some Jewish schools in London suffered vandalism and Jewish students have been advised to disguise their uniforms so as to protect themselves from potential atttacks by pro-Palestine protesters. It has also been reported that pro-Palestine activists are going around, removing posters of missing Israelis on the streets of London. We really don't need such hatred in our British society.
What is it like in France? How are people behaving? I heard about the ban on all demonstrations in support of the Palestinians.
@Ryo1 Here in Europe, IMO, Jews are a special case. They are certainly the most reviled and marginalized minority in European history. They were the victims of the worst genocide in human history. That's what you must have in mind if you want to understand why a state like Israel exists in the first place: it was destined to become a place on Earth where Jews are not longer helpless victims.
The situation here in France is more or less the same as in the rest of the West: Muslims demonstrate pro Hamas and against Israel; many partisans of the identitarian (not the traditional!) Left join them, united in anti-Jewish hatred. France has a long history of antisemitism and on occasions like this it is bound to resurface.
It's somehow curious that our leading far-right party in France, Le Rassemblement National, now stands firmly with Israel, because the leader of the party has the mission to get rid of the antisemitism of the past (incarnated by her father, who had called Auschwitz a "minor detail of history".)
But in the past days our national focus was also on this special crime: once again a teacher was stabbed to death by a radicalized young Muslim.
@Thibaud70 Interesting you should mention that a teacher was stabbed to death by a radicalised young Muslim in France. I don't know if you remember Shamima Begum. She and two other London schoolgirs were radicalised via the Internet and went to Syria to join the ISIS. She was 15 then, and she is 23 now. She is still not allowed to return to Britain. I feel apprehensive that the current pro-Palestine/Hamas demonstrations are giving lurking Islamic extremists good opportunities to radialise naive young people.
It is curious how the Palestinians accuse the Israelis of seeking genocide when that is THEIR charter and stated objective. The Palestinians accuse the Israelis of collective punishment, but the Palestinians target Israeli civilians. So when do the Palestinians accuse the Israelis of rape, pillaging and desecration of the dead?
The point this professor is making is not to support terrorism. He is saying that the lex talionis is not the way to solve the conflict. Why should you divide your society over a conflict happening outside your country, and why should you put your children in harm's way as a result of it?
It would be difficult for those who have already made up their minds and decided to take sides to see where he is coming from.
Just out of curiosity, do you support Hamas?
Jews are not a superior race and do not have a special relationship with 'God'. Many Jews exhibit an odious arrogance which often invites reprisals. Jews do not have nearly the humility they need. Jews are hypocrites as they claim to value scholasticism but refuse to incorporate the transcendental discoveries of science into their belief systems. Indeed, Orthodox Judaism actually denies evolution and other aspects of science and side with the Creationists!
The Jews obtained Israel through terrorism. While the Arabs sought to destroy Israel and encouraged the Palestinians to leave while they conducted their genocide, that did not give the Israelis license to appropriate the abandoned lands and residences. In the various negotiations for peace, the Arabs, over and over again, turned down the opportunity to get their own state so that they could go on to wage Intifadah. Israel used that intransigence to steal more land in the West Bank.
The US has responsibility for this mess having orchestrated it in the first place. That partly happed (I suspect) because of the guilt for doing so little to stop the Holocaust. The UK ethnically cleansed their country of Jews for centuries, so they also had some guilt to deal with.
The Arabs (and Iranians) have done nothing to help or encourage the Palestinians toward peace/prosperity even though they certainly have the resources to do so. Instead, they provide weapons while insisting they remain a threat to Israel, and their borders are closed to Palestinian immigration to enforce this. Meaning, they are USING the Palestinians as a tool to enact their own anti-Jewish bigotry. Said bigotry is an article of Muslim faith, as it is with Christians, though more so with the former.
All religions relegate women and non-believers to 2nd or 3rd class status. While they claim to promote love and spirituality, they actually foster hatred, ignorance, mental illness, disease and poverty. Thus, all religions are, on balance, shit. In the course of time, they should be flushed. But it cannot happen soon enough.
As to Hamas, I don't support taking children as hostages, torturing, dismembering, much less murdering them. Such people are psychopaths deserving of perpetual institutionalization. Anyone who supports such activity cannot be much better than those that perpetrated it. Fuck them all.
The above is my take, but I am open to factual information to be persuaded otherwise.
