May 4, 1970, a date that remembers the deaths of unarmed college students by members of the Ohio National Guard at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio during a mass protest against the bombing of Cambodia by the United States military forces. Twenty-eight guardsmen fired approximately 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis. Four died:
Jeffrey Miller · Mary Ann Vecchio · Allison Krause · Sandra Lee Scheuer
Remember it well,it went "Global" I would like to know the number of students killed by the"Authorities", in total protesting the war in Vietnam.
Great inquiry. I wonder if any organization has tracked it? Perhaps the ACLU?
A classic example of why you should never use military for police.
That's shocking. Peaceful protestors gunned down. An outrage.
Freedom of speech - what a joke.
I shall share that post. Thank you
That's ' Erica for you, land of the free eh, what a joke is right
“Four dead in Ohio”
and Nixon's coming. finally on your own
That song srltill sends shivers down my spine,as well as anger and hatred for the cowards who committed that murderous act as well as the government that covered it up.
