May 4, 1970, a date that remembers the deaths of unarmed college students by members of the Ohio National Guard at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio during a mass protest against the bombing of Cambodia by the United States military forces. Twenty-eight guardsmen fired approximately 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis. Four died:

When I was in the navy police my chief was a surviver of Kent state.

Remember it well,it went "Global" I would like to know the number of students killed by the"Authorities", in total protesting the war in Vietnam.

I remember that day 00 it was a moment of horror and anger that was seared into the minds of people in the university setting of that time. I was in graduate school at the University of Florida at the time.
