Human needs and deficiencies

Before you thing about eliminating bullying you should think about the needs and deficiencies of the bully that led them into thinking that bullying was a good idea.

Before you thing about banning alcohol you should think about the human needs and deficiencies of the alcoholic that led them into thinking that excessive alcohol was a good idea.

Before you thing about banning cocaine you should think about the human needs and deficiencies of the drug addict that led them into thinking that a drug unreality was a good idea.

Before you thing about eliminating Hamas you should think about the human needs and deficiencies of the Palestinian people that led them into thinking that terrorism was a good idea.

Focus on who is really suffering in any given situation . The elimination of Human suffering of all types is now a global necessity.

No one involved in a war with multiple sides, as we have here in GAZA, EVER gives consideration to the full effects on the losers. That also applies to some none war situation in my list of similar situation shown in my original post .(see "Human needs and deficiencies

Before you thing about eliminating bullying you should think ...")

Where is the Humanity of the ' heroic ' victor?

It will never happen, but the victor should be made to repair all damage ,physical and mental with massive sanctions to help them undo the damage as far as possible

People try to solve problems from their ' side ' only without realizing that a quicker less aggressive way is also available and sometimes beneficial to aggressors.

For once McF I am in agreeance with you . IMO an excellent contribution.

@FrayedBear Progress? But in what direction?

@Mcfluwster I hope in the best direction for all humanity not just the benefit of US citizens & the US hegemony.
IMO in this instance you have ceased to toe the US line of propaganda deemed necessary to achieve that hegemony and all the inhumanity that it promulgates & undertakes.

@FrayedBear Sorry i cannot tell your what to do but I have lost my original national identity and now think global whilst not neglecting local affairs.

@Mcfluwster - so long as the local attended to is not just for the benefit of local - it still falls under Cipolla's selfish stupidity. The intelligent make decisions for the benefit of all.

@FrayedBear "best direction for all humanity" .= Follow all international rules .

@Mcfluwster And we all know that sometimes international rules are simply fucked up compromises made to pacify opposing religious or political demands.

@FrayedBear There is no reason to dismiss international rulings. It is of course admissable to improve rules to make better their implementation, and I of course remove religion from the rules. They do need "humanistsic' rules, however.

@Mcfluwster I think we agree on the removal of religion but do not have concurrence when comes to politics?

It is a fair point that if you wish to eliminate a problem, you need to understand the cause. Am surprised people are reading so much more in to this as though it is almost pointed at them. The author gave some examples that came to his mind, and surely any of us could do the same.

Apparently you've never been bullied or the target of any discrimination. Before you suggest not eliminating either one of those things think about the pain and suffering of the people who have to endure it.

@Lerio I am in no way suggesting we give up over bullying. I have been bullied and know how difficult it is to remove it. Those who have been bullied sometimes become bullies themselves and to some extent this applies to Isreal. I see all side of an argument and the more both sides understand each other the quicker a peaceful solution will. be found.

@Mcfluwster Wow. Tell me any time in history when one bully says my goal is to kill you that it ended peacefully

@lerlo There are many examples on film where the bully is thwarted because his evil plans collapse.

Before you think about eliminating Israel you should think about the human needs and deficiencies of the Jewish people that led them into thinking that having their own piece of land was a good idea.

By the way: Unlike Hamas, whose stated goal in their charter is the "destruction of the Zionist entity," there is no Israeli document that declares the destruction of the Palestinians as its goal.

a document is not needed if one can carry out the action anyway.

I am not thinking of eliminating Isreal . I favour the two state solution.

How likely are we to persuade people to give up on the hate that serves as the foundation to their belief systems? How would that be done?

How do we persuade people not to want pleasure and leisure when it inflicts pain or death on others?

How likely are we to persuade people not to have children?

I share and understand the frustrations I just wanted to show the similarity between the problems I mentioned and particularly when you get adamant about your own solutions

For all the sympathy voiced for Palestinian welfare, no one in the world has invited them to emigrate. Meaning, all the sympathy is performance art and virtue signaling. Iran has an interest in the Palestinians insofar as they can be recruited to join their proxy force (Hamas). Hamas is indeed like Isis and the Houthis in Yemen.

It SHOULD be the responsibility of the Gazans to eliminate Hamas. That would be ideal, but not gonna happen. So they force someone else to do their dirty work. Where is Hercules to clean out the Aegean stable? An never mud wrestle with a pig... Still, the US gets some crackerjack weapons/tactics research in the field...
