@Druvius Yup, the Repub Party quit being a normal political party long ago, after they allowed Trump to make it his own personal cult. They could have stood up to him before that, but they didn't, because they made a deal with the devil to get the policies they wanted, with him, and after that, it was too late to stand up to him, because he had become too powerful, and they couldn't risk losing his base, if they wanted to win any primaries, or general elections.
