I've recently had reason to read some of the US declaration of independence. The opening statement is interesting:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."

Therefore why do you not allow foreign citizens like Russians, Iraqis, Afghanis, Cubans, Venezualans, Chileans, Australians, Palestinians or Chinese to follow their own paths being created "free & equal" & not subject to US interference through the CIA, economic sanctions, war & other interferences in their democracies?

This idea of Islamophobia was invented by the progressive left because it has fallen in love with the idea of the "Global South" as the historical victim of Europe and America, and Muslims represent this Global South better than anything else, for example because they complain more and louder than other communities about the West and its neo-colonial dominance. The progressive left cannot help but support any community that claims loudly enough to be the victim of the white man, even if that claim is largely fabricated.
