I posted the wrong link earlier anyhow……
They were visible here (southeastern Connecticut) one night when I was I think 12.....we were allowed to stay outside. Green undulating curtains overhead.....
Never to be forgotten!!!!!
I may step outside tonight with hope!

I saw them near Ithaca, NY, in 1976. It was spectacular!
